Dual Credit
A dual credit course is a college course taken by a high school student for which the student earns both college and high school credit at the same time. Some courses are taught at the high school campus during school hours, while others are taught on the college campus during the day, evenings or weekends.
Participating in the dual credit program enables you to make substantial progress toward your college degree before finishing high school. For more information on dual credit, contact your high school counselor or the college you are interesting in attending.
To assist with paying for the cost of dual credit courses, look into the Dakota Education Alternative Loan (DEAL) offered through Bank of North Dakota and guaranteed by SLND.
